I was denied a loan modification with American Home Mortgage Servicing. I purchased my home on 12/04. I stayed current until 2/08. I operate a private transportation service for disabled. I lost over half of the revenue generated. I made last payment 4/09. Total loan was 154,900 @10.75. It adjusted to 9.75 after 2yrs. six mos later it adjusted to 8.75 where it stands now. My husband abandoned me over a year ago and even though he said he had paid the mortgage note all he did was send insufficent funds to AHMSI so even though I have not missed a payment since trying to get back on my feet since there was so much owed they put me into default. I started having trouble with my payments about a year ago and I contacted my mortgage company Citi residential at the time and they were working with me and then my mortgage got sold to AHMSI and I have been on my own trying to work with them and they have not been very easy they keep promising me a payment plan and saying they would not push to a sale date and then 3 weeks ago I received a letter stating my home was to be sold on 10/9/09 so now I have tried different companies and I was scammed about a week ago unfortunately and now I am turning to you for help we go behind because of job loss but just kept getting further behind due to delays from the mortgage company not following through on their information. It has been very difficult please please help me I only have a week left. Job loss and yes we are both fully employed just do not have 21000 to pay in full at this time would like a payment plan or put at the back end of mortgage.
